How to convert PNG to PDF
Add your PNGs
Screenshots, diagrams, exported slides. JPGs can go in the same PDF.
Order them
Drag the handles, remove any extras.
Create the PDF
Pages match each image’s size unless you pick A4 or Letter.
PNG to PDF features
Lossless
PNGs aren’t turned into JPGs on the way in, so text in a screenshot stays as sharp as the original.
Transparency kept
See-through areas stay see-through. Most viewers show them as white, because that’s the page colour.
No margins by default
Edge-to-edge pages suit screenshots and slides. Switch margins on if you’re printing.
Turning phone screenshots into a document
Phone screenshots are tall and narrow, so “Same size as each image” usually looks best on screen. If someone’s going to print it, pick A4 portrait with a small margin instead.
PNGs can be big. If the finished PDF is heavy and the images are photos rather than text, Compress PDF will convert them to JPEG inside the PDF and shrink it a lot.
Privacy and security
Screenshots often show messages, account numbers or email addresses. They’re converted on your device here and never uploaded.

PNG to PDF FAQs
Will transparent backgrounds stay transparent?
Yes. They’ll look white in most viewers because PDF pages are white, but the transparency is still there if you place the page on a coloured background elsewhere.
Can I add a PNG to an existing PDF instead?
Is there a size limit per image?
Files up to 250 MB. Huge images, over about 19,000 pixels on a side, are scaled to fit the PDF page limit of 200 inches.
