How to convert JPG to PDF
Add your images
JPG works best. PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP are fine too.
Put them in order
Drag the handle under each picture. Remove any you added by mistake.
Choose a page size
A4 is the default. Margins and orientation are optional.
Create the PDF
One image per page. Download it when it’s done.
Why the PDFs come out well
Photos aren’t re-compressed
Your JPGs go into the PDF byte for byte. Nothing gets blurrier, and the PDF ends up roughly the same size as the photos combined.
Sideways phone photos are fixed
Phones often save a portrait shot as landscape with a note saying “rotate this”. We read that note, so pages come out the right way up.
Landscape pages for landscape photos
With orientation on Auto, a wide photo gets a landscape page and a tall one gets portrait.
Tips for photographed documents
Shoot paper documents in daylight from a window, with the phone held flat above the page. Overhead lights tend to throw your shadow across it. If your phone’s photo editor can crop, trim the tabletop off before converting.
Full-size phone photos make big PDFs, often 2 to 5 MB per page. If yours is too large to send, put it through Compress PDF. Our guide on scanning documents with your phone covers the built-in scanners on iPhone and Android, which give smaller, cleaner files than the camera app.
Privacy and security
Images are turned into a PDF on your device and never uploaded. Bear in mind that photos can carry hidden details such as where they were taken, and they’re embedded as they are. If that bothers you, switch off location tagging in your camera settings before you take them.

JPG to PDF FAQs
Can I put lots of JPGs into one PDF?
Yes, up to 200 at a time. Each one becomes a page, in the order on screen.
Will my photos lose quality?
No. The only exception is a photo your camera stored mirrored, which has to be re-saved so it doesn’t come out back to front.
Does it work with iPhone HEIC photos?
Not directly; most browsers can’t open HEIC. Set Settings › Camera › Formats to Most Compatible, or share the photo as a JPG first.
A4 or Letter?
A4 for anything staying in the UK or Europe. US Letter if it’s going to the US or Canada. Choose “Same size as each image” if you don’t want white borders at all.
